What You 'll Do: Sales & Client Engagement * Be the face of Pen Manufacturing , building and maintaining strong relationships with clients. * Manage and expand an already established portfolio of accounts and leads. * Work closely with customers to understand their needs and deliver customized manufacturing solutions. Project Estimation & Costing * Analyze customer documentation, blueprints, and specifications to develop accurate project estimates. * Calculate material, labor, tooling, and sourcing costs, ensuring competitive and profitable pricing. * Collaborate with purchasing managers, engineers, and suppliers to optimize costs and address challenges. Project Management & Execution * Develop and oversee detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets , ensuring seamless execution. * Work with production control to align manufacturing timelines with customer expectations. * Monitor project progress , proactively identifying risks and implementing effective solutions. Technology & Process Optimization * Utilize Paperless Parts or similar quoting software to streamline project estimation and bidding. * Leverage CRM, ERP, and project management tools (Salesmate, Asana, Fulcrum) to drive efficiency. * Stay ahead of industry trends, continually seeking ways to enhance processes and improve client experiences. What We 're Looking For: * Education & Expertise: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. * Metals Manufacturing Mastery: Deep knowledge of machining, sheet metal fabrication, structural welding, and precision components. * Tech-Savvy Problem Solver: Proficiency in CRM, ERP, project management, and quoting software (Paperless Parts experience is a strong plus). * Analytical & Detail-Oriented: Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications with precision. * Strategic Communicator: Strong interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with customers, engineers, and executive teams. * Proven Track Record: Experience managing complex manufacturing projects, delivering high-quality, on-time, and on-budget results.
