What We Stand For and Where You'll Come In We are looking for a Confectionery Sales Representative to join our team and drive new business opportunities. This role is responsible for developing new customer relationships, reactivating accounts, and supporting customer service in retaining and growing sales. The ideal candidate is highly self- motivated, skilled in relationship-building, and passionate about growing sales in the confectionery industry. Reporting to the EVP Sales , this role plays a crucial part in expanding Nassau Candy's market reach and strengthening customer partnerships. How You'll Make an Impact *Lead Generation & Outreach * Curate call lists using internal resources and sales tools. * Conduct proactive outreach through cold-calls, cold-emails , and follow-ups to introduce Nassau Candy products and identify sales opportunities. * Respond to pre-qualified website leads and convert them into active accounts. *Customer Relationship Building * Build rapport with new and existing clients, understanding their business needs and identifying how Nassau Candy can support their goals. * Re-engage dormant accounts and maintain a regular cadence of contact to drive future opportunities. * Conduct monthly business reviews of key accounts using sales and item velocity reports. * Communicate new product offerings to accounts as appropriate. * Work closely with customer service to enhance sales opportunities with existing customers. * *Sales Execution * Present products, pricing, and promotions to prospects and customers, including in our on-site showroom. * Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth customer experience, from first contact to order delivery. * Monitor customer buying patterns and provide insights into opportunities for upselling or cross-selling. *Reporting & Development * Track call activity, outcomes, and opportunities in CRM or internal systems. * Analyze trends and gather feedback from customers to inform future sales strategies. * Participate in occasional industry events and trade shows to build brand awareness and generate leads.
