Role Description This is a part-time role for a Real Estate Agent at Robert E. Schaff Ltd. located in Lancaster, NY. The Real Estate Agent will be responsible for assisting clients in buying, selling, and renting properties. Day-to-day tasks include conducting property tours, creating real estate listings, negotiating prices, and finalizing transactions. Additionally, the agent will provide excellent customer service by understanding and meeting client requirements, and keeping up with local market trends. As a real estate salesperson you need to be affiliated with a Broker. As the broker I have to oversee everything you do and make sure you are doing everything correctly as well as maintain errors and omissions insurance. The commission is split between the agent and the broker. Our office split is 20% and 80% to the agent. For example if the commission to our office was 3% of a $300,000 home from a lead you brought to the office our office would earn $9,000 you would get $7,200. My office is also partnered with a live lead company where we get guaranteed at least 20 live leads every month that you would have an opportunity to get. The difference would be the split would be 30% to our office and 70% to you after we pay the 17.5% referral fee as I also pay a monthly fee to secure these leads. In this example the $300,000 sale if commission was 3% we pay $1,575 to referral company so net commission to our office is $7,425 and you would get 70% of that which would be $4,725. If the upfront cost is difficult for you I can help pay all your upfront costs if you refer anyone that wants to use our office to help them buy or sell a home. I would work with them as their agent and you can assist. As soon as they are under contract I will pay all your upfront costs to get you licensed and started as a Salesperson with our office.
