Job Description Job Title: Sales Engineer Key Objective: To represent Acme Brick Company as the technical subject and education resource pertaining to the brick industry. Main Duties & Responsibilities: * Provide continuing education credit training to architects in the form of (AIA) approved presentations. * Provide technical consultation and training for company associates. * Represent the company and industry's interest with national organizations such as: o Brick Industry Association (BIA) o ASTM International (ASTM) o The Masonry Society (TMS) * Trouble shoot and consult on masonry jobsite problems within the Company. * Have a general understanding of building codes and standards related to Company's products. Skills & Experience Required: * Technical problem-solving skills * Good communication and presentation skills * Proficient in Power Point and Microsoft Office * Sound organizational and time management skills * Willing to travel up to 30% of your time * Interactive listening skills Education: * Bachelor's degree in engineering. Preferably structural engineering. * 3 to 5 years related work experience. * General understanding of the construction industry.
