Full description of the position

ACCOUNT MANAGER GENERAL SUMMARY Our Account Managers are responsible for supporting our Account Executives in managing a portfolio of key accounts through their involvement in the day-to- day administrative requirements, client relationships and delivering best-in- class service for our meeting and event clients. Ensuring our clients daily needs are met, that nothing falls through the cracks, that we are delivering on all aspects of our SOWs and delivering creative, impactful solutions in support of client retention, growth, and success. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Key Account Support * Understand all operational requirements for managing the account (not the event), adhere to SOPs, and ensure we are meeting all needs and timelines. * Facilitate the development of and execution against contracts and statements of work with clients and the Etherio team. Ensure that the SOWs accurately reflect requirements. * Maintain client records in our CRM system. * Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of invoices with accounting. * Facilitate and develop client budgets, reports, and data requirements for Key Accounts in support of AE. * Support AE with Quarterly and Annual Key Account materials. Build Client Relationships with a Portfolio of Accounts - Account Management * Onboard new accounts and projects in a manner that delights clients. * Serve as the client contact, inspiring trust by ensuring regular communication, excellent customer service, and timely follow-up. * Build multi-tiered relationships throughout organizations to ensure we have multiple decision makers and influencers as Etherio advocates. * Become a trusted advisor and consult with clients to understand their business objectives, event goals, budget, and other requirements. * Develop event proposals, pricing budgets, and timelines in collaboration with clients and the event planning team. * Be the client's advocate within Etherio, ensuring we deliver exceptional sourcing, meetings, events, and services that align with the clients' priorities, budget, and objectives. * Regularly seek, share, and act on client feedback to support innovation and continual improvement. * Reinforce a partnership relationship with shared interests for success. Grow Portfolio * Manage client and project renewals, expanding services whenever our capabilities align with client needs and increasing the volume of business. * Understand the total footprint of the client's needs and ask for the business. * Participate with business development in the sales process when requested. * Expand revenue of our existing programs and sell new programs. * Exemplify Etherio. MINIMUM AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor's degree in hospitality, marketing, communications, business administration or a related field. * Experience with third party/meeting planning agency - preferred. * 1+ years of meeting management experience (CMP or CMM designation preferred). * At least 2 years of experience in a supporting role within account management, sales, or related field. * Strong attention to detail. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Excellent organizational and time management skills. * Strong project and team management skills. * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. * Collaborator with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. * Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed. WORKPLACE LOCATION REQUIREMENTS This position is based in Atlanta. We operate a Hybrid work environment, working as a combination of remote and in-office presence, as well as the possibility of being onsite at client and/or event locations. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS Ability to travel at least 15% of the time. SCHEDULING REQUIREMENTS Requires flexibility in scheduling, such as the ability to work evenings and weekends to meet client, event, or company needs.
