Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Heavy Equipment Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales of heavy equipment within your designated territory. You will engage with potential clients, develop relationships, and utilize your sales expertise to meet and exceed sales targets. This position requires a strong understanding of the heavy equipment industry and the ability to effectively communicate the value of our products. Duties * Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling and networking within the industry. * Manage territory sales by developing strategic plans to maximize market penetration and revenue growth. * Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of heavy equipment. * Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking opportunities for upselling additional products or services. * Negotiate contracts and close sales deals in alignment with company policies. * Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies that enhance brand visibility in the territory. * Utilize software tools for tracking sales activities, managing customer relationships, and reporting on performance metrics. * Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to effectively position our offerings. Qualifications * Proven experience in sales management or direct sales, preferably in heavy equipment or technology sales. * Strong skills in business development, including territory management and cold calling techniques. * Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals successfully. * Ability to upsell products by understanding customer needs and presenting tailored solutions. * Proficient in using software tools for customer relationship management (CRM) and sales tracking. * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with clients at all levels. * Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
