Apply now to join our team as a Nursery Sales Associate at our Wholesale Nursery, Garden Industries, LLC part of Botanicas. Responsibilities: * Greet and welcome customers as they enter the Nursery * Assist customers in finding and selecting the appropriate plants, based on their specific requirements. * Provide expert advice and guidance on plant care. * Assist in the development of approaches that ensure every customer is made aware of the full spectrum of material we offered. * Build and maintain strong customer relationships by actively listening to their needs and offering personalized recommendations * Handle customer inquiries and concerns, in a professional and timely manner, striving to resolve issues to the customer's satisfaction * Assist in inventory control and safety practices. * Stay up to date with product knowledge and industry trends to provide accurate information to customers Qualifications: * Previous experience in sales, preferably in a garden center, nursery or a similar environment * Passion for horticulture, gardening, and outdoor living * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills * Customer-focused mindset with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional service * Proven ability to work well in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment * Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly on your feet * Basic knowledge of plants, their care requirements * Ability to lift and carry heavy items, such as large plants, as required and up to 50lbs. * Bilingual in Spanish is preferred * Knowledge of exotic material and interior foliage is a plus Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
