Job description Smith Boys Marine Sales , is a privately-owned marina and boat dealership on the Niagara River, by Buffalo NY. We are is looking for *Marine Technicians & Mechanics. *The preferred candidate is an individual with experience in any of the following industries, Marine, Auto or truck repairs. We will hire and train the right candidate for the marine industry. This is a full time position. We are a family oriented marina. We are looking to hire A, B & C class *Marine Technicians & Mechanics *with varying levels of experience and qualifications. We are a Mercury / Mercruiser Certified Master Dealer as well as a Brunswick (Sea Ray & Bayliner ) boat dealer. This is a Full-Time position. Skills & Qualifications Desired: * Experience / Knowledge of boats and marine engines / drives is preferred. * Experience in the mechanical field (Marine , Automotive or Truck).We will train the correct individual. * Ability to work independently. * Familiar with Microsoft Windows based software. * Marine Certifications (Mercury, Volvo, ABYC, etc.) preferred, but not required. * Ability to Swim (working in a marine environment) * Valid Driver License The applicant must have his/her own basic tools. We supply all necessary specialty tools. In addition, the applicant must have dependable transportation. We will train the right person that has mechanical knowledge and the desire to start an exciting career in Marine Service and Repair. Responsibilities * Diagnose and repair marine engines using mechanical knowledge and hand tools. * Perform routine maintenance and inspections on various marine vehicles. * Utilize schematics and precision measuring instruments to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues. * Fabricate and assemble components as needed, ensuring high-quality standards. * Provide excellent customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns effectively. * Maintain a valid driver's license and adhere to safety protocols while working in diverse environments. The hourly pay will be based upon your experience, knowledge and certifications.
