Estimating & Sales - Structural & Misc. Steel Location: Phoenix, AZ | Full-Time | In-Office | Experienced Client: Confidential | Steel Fabrication & Erection Company We're hiring on behalf of a growing, privately held structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication and erection company for a new *Estimating & Sales *role. You'll play a key part in pricing projects, creating proposals, and closing deals--while working closely with a small, skilled team in a tight-knit environment. This position is best suited for someone with experience in the steel fabrication industry, strong estimating skills, and the ability to build and maintain customer relationships in commercial, industrial, and retail construction sectors. The company is working to implement Tekla estimating software, so prior experience with this program is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities: * Prepare take-offs and estimates for structural and miscellaneous steel scopes * Write and submit clear, professional proposals * Follow up on bids, negotiate terms, and close sales * Build and maintain strong relationships with private-sector clients * Coordinate with internal fabrication and project management teams * Maintain an organized pipeline and track bid results What Makes This Role Unique: * You'll work on a variety of private-sector projects in commercial, industrial, and retail construction * As part of a small, close-knit team, your input and impact will be visible and valued * You'll need to tailor your estimating approach depending on available detail and timeline--knowing when to go deep and when to move fast Required Qualifications: * Experience estimating structural and miscellaneous steel for commercial or industrial projects * Proficiency in Tekla's estimating software or a strong interest in adopting it. * Familiarity with Excel, Word, and similar tools * Strong communication and relationship-building skills * Ability to manage multiple estimates in a fast-paced environment * Proven ability to write clear, competitive proposals Perks & Benefits: * Competitive salary (based on experience). * Health, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k). * Paid time off and holidays.
