Major Responsibilities * On the floor majority of the time greeting, talking to customers, developing relationships and selling product * Understand motorcycles, ATVs, Side by Side Vehicles, snowmobiles and other products by studying characteristics, capabilities, and features; comparing and contrasting competitive models. * Develop relationships with buyers by maintaining rapport with previous customers; suggesting trade-ins; meeting prospects at outside activities; responding to inquiries; recommending sales campaigns and promotions. * Introduce new customers to the service, parts, general merchandise and finance departments. * Close sales by overcoming objections; asking for sales; negotiating price. Attain new and used unit sales quotas as agreed upon with the sales manager. * Cultivate prospects by working the showroom floor, customer follow-up, participating in outside events. * Daily prospecting by making phone calls, sending emails, completing logs in order to build a pipeline. * Participate and network during dealership sponsored events * Participate in dealership social media videos as needed * Other duties as assigned. Qualifications * High energy, competitive and sales driven personality with previous sales experience * Ability to start a conversation with anyone. Ability to spend time making outbound calls. * Ability and desire to provide exceptional customer experience with every customer every time. * Ability to understand motorcycle/roadster characteristics * Ability to understand and talk about ATVs, SxS vehicles, snowmobiles, and motorcycles * Must hold a motorcycle endorsement or must be willing to get within 90 days of employment. * Must be able to use a computer efficiently and learn CRM programs.
