A Crystal Lake, Illinois based company is seeking a Customer Support Specialist. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written are required. Experience in a customer support/call center experience in a technology-based environment is required. Responsibilities: This position involves providing technical expertise and advice to customers and act as the go-to technical expert, providing answers through experience, research, or collaboration, supporting, troubleshooting, and training end- users. You will be talking with customers before the purchase to make sure a product meets their needs. You will be configuring routers before we ship them and providing remote support to our customers. Required Qualifications: * High school diploma or GED required with advanced degree preferred * 2-3 years of Wireless product or cellular services sales or support or networking experience. * Excellent customer service skills. * Willingness to learn and be a quick learner * Understanding the traditional LAN/WAN Networking world is REQUIRED * Ability to understand the complete end-to-end process and drive customers, anticipate possible issues with each customers' unique implementation, and gather necessary information/data to ensure a positive customer experience, each and every time * Knowledge of networking products and technical background is a requirement. Knowledge of CradlePoint, Digi, Sierra or Peplink Routers is a huge plus (or other cellular routers, BUT not required). * Reliable, dependable, and professional as well as adaptable to changing workloads * Must have the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively * Must have excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills * Strong phone contact handling and active listening skills * Ability to go with the flow, work with the team, and never be complacent with something that works if it can be done in a more proficient manner * Self-Starter * Like to have fun at work Why 5Gstore? 5Gstore is an extremely competitive company to work for, unlike most companies we function as a large company but really operate on a small scale.
