Full description of the position

* 5+ years of proven technical sales, HVAC sales experience * An undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar technical discipline * Solid understanding of HVAC principles * Verifiable experience with specified products * Strong presentation skills * Proficient with a PC and Microsoft Office applications * Assist TM's by calling on consulting engineers, mechanical contractors, architects, and owners to achieve company sales and margin goals. * Conduct sales, design, and application training to above reference key decision makers * Work with mechanical contractors, engineers and design-build contractors to help specify Ruud products * Create new business through organized prospecting and increase our share of business from assigned territory * Assist with conducting take-offs of plans and specifications; develop and price estimates, write the proposal and bid jobs. * Validate that inventory levels on key products are in stock and provide forecasts to purchasing team on all commercial models. * Participate in local and regional trade organizations and trade shows. * Support TM's by providing and/or coordinate technical and product training to customers * Document all customer and employee interactions in the CRM, including bids * Build, maintain and utilize commercial trailer for on-site training events.
