Responsibilities * Client Consultation: Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their insurance needs and provide personalized recommendations * Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring overall satisfaction * Sales Generation: Achieve and exceed sales targets by proactively working our existing leads while leveraging existing relationships * Product Knowledge: Stay up to date on the latest insurance products, industry trends, and regulatory changes to effectively communicate value propositions to clients * Relationship Building: Cultivate strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, earning their trust and confidence as their go-to insurance advisor * Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, policy details, and other relevant information * Implement sales strategies and tactics proven effective in maintaining and growing existing customer portfolios comprised of loyal, long-term clients * Continue your education on evolving insurance industry protocols to adequately fulfill all policy requirements and monitor insurance claims to customers' satisfaction * Listen attentively to new and potential clients, evaluate their needs and their financial statuses, and propose ideal plan options for their unique circumstances and insurance needs * Create tailored risk management strategies directly with clients that align with their risk profiles * Ensure bookkeeping systems, sales databases, and customer records are maintained to report progress toward monthly initiatives to stakeholders Minimum Required Qualifications: * A Florida 2-20 or 4-40 active insurance license- required at time of application * High school diploma * Must be 18 years of age * Ability to use Microsoft Office * Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills, customer service skills, and analytical skills are required * Proven understanding of the insurance industry including insurance products, risk management and any state and federal regulations Preferred Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree * Experience with independent Florida carriers Compensation Details: * Starting base pay: $18-$25 per hour.
