Full description of the position

Description Want to work for the world's leader in play design and equipment manufacturing? Sales Representative - Playworld Preferred At Playworld Preferred we design, supply and build recreational play spaces for schools, parks, childcare facilities, HOA's and more. We are seeking a sales representative for our Georgia territory. In a multi-county market, you will represent top tier playground and sports/exercise equipment, site furnishings, a splash park line and shade shelters along with other products that make us a turnkey company. You will work from your home office and have administrative help from our central office in NC. We are seeking an energetic self-starter, with consultative selling skills that has a successful track record in sales and a desire to increase earnings yearly through dedicated work principles. The position is full time (plus) with base salary, auto allowance, commission, and an annual bonus (based upon overall business performance). The Sales Representative must come to understand detailed functionality and benefits of each product, how each product is best applied to meet customer needs, benefits the products will provide to both the end- user and contractor, and ability to articulate benefits for the customer. Essential Job Results: 1. ACHIEVES SALES OBJECTIVES by participating in the researching and targeting of customers or accounts and implementing a direct engagement sales strategy to secure orders from customers. 2. DEVELOPES PIPELINE OF POTENTIAL BUSINESS from all sources resulting on the escalation of annual revenue generated from direct sales strategies. 3. PARTICIPATES IN SALES STRATEGY including research, prospecting, cold calling, customer presentations, technical support and order facilitation and acquisition. 4. COLLABORATES TO PRODUCE sales support materials, documents, special presentations and events to secure direct sale orders or relationships providing sales access to distribution. 5. DEVELOPS OPPORTUNITY BASED SALES STRATEGIES by working in a collaborative way with Corporate & Direct Accounts Manager, fellow Direct Sales team members and appropriate departments within the Company 6. PARTICIPATES IN PRICING STRATEGY DISCUSSION by incorporating product development, manufacturing capability, cost of market/customer development and return on investment projections. 7. MAINTAINS CURRENT AND NEW CORPORATE & SPECIAL ACCOUNTS RELATIONSHIP SUPPORT by maintaining periodic communications, relationship development and performance scorecard/Key Performance Indicator management tools. 8. TRAVEL TO NEW & CURRENT CORPORATE & SPECIAL ACCOUNTS as needed to secure new business, maintain existing Special & Corporate Account business. 9. PROVIDE PERIODIC AND IMMEDIATE VISIBILITY by contributing through activity and ROI dashboard style reporting and other reporting as required. 10. CONTRIBUTES TO THE CORPORATE TEAM EFFORT by collaborating with every department, participating in Sales Meetings and other Company business functions. 11. MAINTAINS PROFFESIONAL AND TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE by participating in Company sponsored product and services training events, interaction with other departments and periodic professional development opportunities. 12. MAINTAINS COMPLIANCE TO THE ENVIRONMENTAL STANDARD by complying with the procedures, rules and regulations. * Job Requirements: * Must have a Bachelor's Degree or at least 5 years of experience with documentable revenue growth in the area of direct sales, new customer development and acquisition. * Must have strong writing: interpersonal skills; problem solving skills. * Must be able to read, analyze, and use reports. * Must be willing to travel frequently (60% minimum), by air and over occasional weekends. * Must be able to participate and collaborate with all levels of the Company and work well in a team environment. * Working Conditions: Normal office environment or may be exposed to noise on occasions if in the production area, the IPEMA area or with travel.
