Funding Specialist (In Office Position) Jupiter Equipment Finance, an equipment finance company, is looking for a mid- to-experienced employee to join our closing & funding team. This team works closely with all levels in our organization to increase efficiency, reduce operational risk, and to ensure each client's needs are met by providing the highest level of customer service. Job Responsibilities: * This is an in-office position in Jupiter, FL * This position is geared towards project management, documentation and customer service * Process, review and verify all documentation included in the contract closing process * Perform all processing and closing tasks required to deliver financing in compliance with company standards and best practices and underwriter requirements, from approval to funding including data entry, documentation, and status updates * Be responsible for tracking & communications with all parties on status of contracts, answering questions, and providing other information as necessary to get the financing ready for funding; * Preparing and coordinating all funding items for our customers and relationships including the review and verification of all document information to ensure adherence to credit approvals, policies, and established guidelines * Track, manage and provide regular updates related to DMV vehicle titling and registration process for titled equipment in all states * Track, manage and update, when necessary, certificate or proof of insurance documents from customers or insurance agents on an as-needed basis * Create and update internal CRM with correct information in a time sensitive and accurate manner. * Manage many client document packages at one time in an organized and effective manner with strong attention to detail. * Be entrepreneurial in thought, always looking for new ways to streamline processes and innovate wherever possible * May be tasked with reviewing data integrity of financing documentation; reviewing and analyzing credit, income, asset, and property documentation; ensuring file meets all compliance and guidelines; collecting documentation from borrowers; and organizing and packaging loan files to submit to underwriting department; and * Perform other duties as required; opportunity for reporting and projects as needed. Qualifications: * Willingness to be a team player and wear many hats to get projects done * Strong organizational and customer service skills are a must * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Ability to manage multiple projects, complete tasks, and meet deadlines * Knowledge of lending/banking processes a plus * Experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat and Salesforce is desired * College degree preferred but not required * 3-5+ year's experience in an office role * Ability to work in our Jupiter, FL office location.
