We are a busy, private optometry office located in Nampa, Idaho looking to add someone with your professional experience to our amazing team as afull time Optician! Hours: Monday 8:30am-5:30pm, Tuesday (rotates) 8:30am-5:30pm or 9:30am-7pm, Wednesday 8:30am-5:30pm, Thursday 8:30am-5:30pm, and Friday 8am-3:30pm Job Responsibilities * _Optician job responsibilities include:_* * Assist and educate patients in making frame and lens selections * Coordinate order pickups and dispenses * Placing glasses orders * Work with patients to customize their eyewear * Make small adjustments to frames * Understanding and explaining vision insurance Required Skills and Qualifications * _Optician required skills & qualifications include:_* * Prior customer service or sales experience * Comfortable with sales and making transactions * Works well in a team environment * Reliable * Comfortable with computer software * Experience in the Optical field a plus * High School Diploma required
