POSITION SUMMARY Drive company revenue growth by identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities while maintaining excellent customer relationships and representing the company's values. STRATEGIC WORK: * Contribute to a welcoming and vibrant work atmosphere consistent with core values * Contribute to the company's revenue goals and market expansion strategies * Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company's products/services and value proposition * Identify and pursue high-potential market segments and sales opportunities * Build and nurture long-term relationships with key clients and partners * Provide market insight and customer feedback to inform product development and company strategy TACTICAL WORK: * Implement and maintain THE STAGING COMPANY sales processes and tools * Conduct regular prospecting activities to build a robust and productive sales pipeline * Develop and execute personalized sales strategies to accomplish sales goals * Always answer the phone. Return missed calls & texts within 10 min. * Return all emails on the same business day. * Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals consistent with brand guidelines and core values * Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets * Accurately forecast sales and maintain up-to-date CRM records * Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities * Complete 15, 30 & 45 day second sale check ins * Attend scheduled sales meetings and on on ones * Continuously improve sales skills through training and self-development EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE * High school diploma or equivalent required * Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related equivalent of experience preferred * Minimum 2 years of sales experience with progressive responsibilities - or - documented success in a sales role PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS * Ability to spend prolonged periods of time standing, speaking, walking, driving, and/or sitting at a desk and working on a computer * Position may require up to 25% local travel * Requires ability to occasionally lift up to 30 lbs * Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential requirements BENEFITS * Paid Holidays * PTO Program * Professional Training & Development Opportunities COMMITMENT TO DIVERSITY As an equal opportunity employer committed to meeting the needs of a multigenerational and multicultural workforce, The Staging Company recognizes that a diverse staff, reflective of our community, is an integral and welcome part of a successful and ethical business.
