Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Associate to join our dynamic retail team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and maintaining an organized store environment. Responsibilities * Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products. * Provide knowledgeable answers to customer inquiries regarding products and services. * Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately. * Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including restocking shelves and managing inventory. * Utilize basic math skills to process transactions and provide change. * Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the customer shopping experience. * Supervise stock levels and assist in inventory management as needed. * Ensure compliance with store policies and procedures while maintaining a positive shopping environment. Qualifications * Proven experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. * Strong phone etiquette and communication skills are essential. * Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience with POS systems is a plus. * Basic math skills for transaction processing are required. * Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. * A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer engagement is highly valued.
