Full description of the position

Intech Southwest is an established, growing and well-respected IT solutions and services provider. We are looking to expand both our customer territory as well as our sales team. Our primary customers are educational institutions and public sector entities. Intech Southwest is looking for an enthusiastic and energetic person to join our stellar sales team as a (BDM) Business Development Manager. He/she must efficient, hard-working, and motivated to develop new business. This role will cover new territory for Intech while selling solutions that we are well versed in. It's an opportunity to grow and develop your own patch of business while being supported by veteran peers. In addition, this person must be conscientious and always considerate of other employees and business associates at Intech Southwest. The position will entail selling technology products and services into an account territory by setting appointments, following up on leads, creating proposals and cold-calling. This is a salary plus commission position with an unlimited earning potential and ideal for self-motivated individuals. Intech will provide BDMs with the training and professional development needed to make strides quickly within the role. That training and development will be on-going with a focus on keeping you informed and equipped to continue to excel within this role for years. Basic Knowledge & Competencies: * Excellent time management skills to include prioritization of tasks and execution to meet established deadlines * Excellent customer service, communication and negotiation skills * Strong analytical skills * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Strong presentation skills * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite * Prospect, develop business, propose and close opportunities. * Maximize market share, revenue, gross margin and profits. * Follow-up and monitor orders with current customers to ensure their satisfaction. * Participate in industry-related organizations, events, and trade shows to ensure visibility and contact with current and potential customers. * Continually expand industry knowledge and contacts. * Ability to multitask, follow-through and meet commitments. * Build great relationship with customers * Ability to learn about new technology products and solutions * Must be Positive, Motivated, Enthusiastic Schedule: * Monday to Friday * 7:30am - 4:30pm * Potential for work time outside of normal hours due to travel, deadlines, and customer meetings Work Location: * In Office with possibility for limited travel to meet with customers and host events * Required: Reliable transportation with a valid Texas driver's license and current insurance. Required Experience: One year of experience in each of the following: * Demonstrated customer service excellence. * Exceptional organizational and time management skills. * Excellent communications skills; Spanish is a plus. * Verifiable on-time performance, strong work ethic and commitment to quality and company * Business-to-business sales experience a strong plus Optional Experience - (Extra consideration will be given to candidates with the following experience.)
