Job Opportunity: HVAC Sales Engineer with ElitAire - Indianapolis, Indiana *Do you have a hunter 's mentality with the drive to sell? Are you a self- driven multi-tasker with the ability to grow a territory of your own? Do you have Commercial HVAC experience or knowledge? If so, then we have an exciting Sales Engineer opportunity for you. As the HVAC Sales Engineer , you will be responsible for maintaining productive relationships, within an assigned territory, with engineers, architects, mechanical contractors, general contractors, and owners. ElitAire is a provider of commercial and industrial HVAC equipment and services for new and existing buildings. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Develop and maintain relationships with building owners, consulting engineers, and contractors to drive sales of HVAC products and services. * Conduct site visits, assess customer needs, and provide tailored HVAC solutions. * Prepare and present proposals, cost estimates, and technical recommendations. * Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering and service departments, to ensure seamless project execution. * Stay up to date on HVAC industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies. * Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets. * Provide technical support and product training to customers as needed. Qualifications and Requirements: * Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline; required. * Education or competitor experience in the commercial HVAC industry; required. * Exceptional communication skills, well-developed listening skills, and ability to interpret business and client needs and navigate complex customer interactions. * Flexibility to travel and participate in the Daikin Applied Graduate Engineer Training (GET) six-month program to learn foundational knowledge, build professional networks, enhance industry credibility, and understand HVAC products, systems, applications and real-life situations; required. * Demonstrated proficiency in the MS Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel). * Prior experience creating sales proposals, quotes, and reviewing contracts. * Demonstrated sales success - energized by meeting or exceeding sales goals. * Outstanding relationship management, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. * Proven initiative and strong work ethic. * Revit or AutoCAD experience.
