If this sounds exciting, we'd love to hear from you! * THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL: * Objectively listen to customers and sales team members to identify optimal solutions to customer problems. * Possess the ability to prioritize and complete tasks to deliver desired outcomes within allotted time frames. * Evaluate customer needs and translate into appropriate Coe Press Equipment products * Take personal responsibility and action toward self- improvement and learning to ensure that they are current in knowledge of new products and technologies. THE APPLICATIONS ENGINEER WILL: * Develop specifications and performance requirements for industrial coil handling equipment. * Evaluate machinery to ensure it has the capability and performance per customer specifications / applications. * Analyze alternative techniques and methods and recommend changes to equipment or procedures as needed to ensure production feasibility. * Prepare proposal drawings for customer quotes. * REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION: * Bachelor's degree in engineering or Computer Science required; Masters degree preferred. * Five years of relevant experience, preferably in cost estimating and quoting of industrial equipment * Three years of design engineering for industrial equipment manufacturing highly preferred. * Knowledge of Machine Operation Safety Procedures * Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills * Evidence of ability to work in cross functional teams required Coe Press Equipment is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer
