Overview Sonoma Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is a global leader in HOCl-based (Hypochlorous Acid) health care solutions in the specialty pharmaceutical sector. Our primary focus is developing innovative solutions for dermatological conditions, eye care and advanced tissue care. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Director to lead our U.S. sales team and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales and sales team management. This role requires a strategic thinker who can execute strategic sales plans and manage relationships with key clients while also providing leadership to the sales team. The Sales Director will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance business growth and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities * Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet or exceed revenue and growth targets. * Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities. * Establish sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the sales team. * Generate and maintain new accounts while leading the sales team to do the same. * Monitor and track sales performance, providing guidance and corrective actions where necessary. * Develop and execute sales campaigns and promotional activities in alignment with marketing strategies. * Assist in planning sales exhibits and attending industry trade shows to promote products and expand market reach. * Recruit, train, and mentor sales representatives to enhance their skills and performance. * Conduct regular sales meetings, performance reviews, and coaching sessions to motivate and inspire the sales team to achieve targets and maintain high levels of engagement. * Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including healthcare professionals, pharmacies, clinics, hospitals, and distributors. * Develop marketing plans for contract accounts and assist with contract negotiations and sales closings. * Conduct regular visits and business reviews with key clients to strengthen relationships and identify growth opportunities. * Ensure adherence to pharmaceutical industry regulations, company policies, and ethical sales practices. * Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and business reviews to senior management and provide data-driven insights to refine sales strategies and optimize market penetration. * Utilize SaleForce and sales analytics tools to track sales performance and identify improvement areas. * Performs other duties as requested or assigned. Qualifications * At least ten (10) of experience in pharmaceutical or skincare sales, with at least five (5) years in a managerial role. * Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth. * Knowledge of pharmaceutical or skincare products, industry regulations, and sales processes. * Knowledge of pharmaceutical or skincare distribution channels, sales cycles, and how to develop market opportunities. * Knowledge of assessing industry trends and the ability to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. * High school diploma or GED is required. * Bachelor's Degree in business development, sales, or a related field is preferred. * Valid Colorado driver's license is required. Skills and Abilities * Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. * Strong sales acumen, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify growth opportunities. * Strong work ethic with an excellent attitude. * Effective verbal and written communication skills. * Intermediate computer skills with proficiency using SalesForce, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales analytics tools. * Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize to meet deadlines. * Ability to analyze market data and trends to make informed business decisions. * Ability and willingness to travel, as required. * Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with peers and management. * Ability to learn and apply disease state and product knowledge. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. * Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and reprioritize as necessary. * Ability to deal with sensitive information confidentially Work Environment The employee typically works indoors in a standard office environment and will be required to travel on behalf of the Company. Physical Demands The employee is required to frequently stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers, reach and lift with arms, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is required to frequently lift up to 30 pounds without assistance.
