Job Title: Sales Application Engineer Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and driven Sales Application Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with customers to determine their equipment needs, develop detailed proposals, and provide competitive pricing for a wide range of products. Your ability to manage multiple projects from initial quotation to order confirmation will be critical to your success in this position. Key Responsibilities: * Engage with customers to understand their equipment requirements and develop tailored solutions. * Prepare and deliver detailed pricing proposals based on company pricing criteria. * Collaborate with engineering and design teams to include drawings, specifications, and any other necessary details in customer proposals. * Support customers through the quotation process and follow up to convert quotes into confirmed orders. * Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of proposals. * Assist with testing of various product lines to ensure alignment with customer applications. Qualifications: * Prior experience in sales or engineering, preferably in a technical or industrial environment. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). * Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor. * Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines. * Attention to detail and a solutions-oriented mindset. * Preferred: Associate's degree or higher in an engineering or business-related field. Work Environment: * This is a full-time position operating within a professional office environment. * Standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers will be used regularly. Physical Demands: * The role requires the ability to sit for extended periods, as well as frequent use of hands for typing, handling materials, and reaching. * Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds may be required. Position Type and Hours: * Full-time, with core work hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. * Flexibility in work hours is allowed, but occasional evening or weekend work may be necessary based on project deadlines. Travel: * Occasional travel may be required for site visits and customer meetings across North America.
