We are seeking an experienced Marine Sales Manager & Estimator to drive business growth, establish a high-performing sales team, and expand our market presence. Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development * Develop and execute sales strategies to grow revenue across residential, commercial, and municipal markets. * Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, outreach, and lead generation. * Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the sales cycle, from initial inquiry to contract signing. * Build strong relationships with property owners, contractors, engineers, and permitting agencies. * Represent SteMic Marine at trade shows, industry events, and community functions to build brand awareness. Estimating & Proposal Development * Independently prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for marine construction projects, including docks, seawalls, boat lifts, and dredging. * Evaluate site conditions, construction plans, and technical specifications to create detailed proposals. * Analyze labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs specific to marine environments. * Collaborate with the operations team to ensure estimates align with scheduling, permitting, and logistical considerations. * Track and refine estimating practices based on job performance, vendor pricing, and market trends. Project Coordination & Client Support * Support smooth project handoff by communicating scope, budget, and client expectations to the operations team. * Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle and assist in resolving any issues or changes in scope. * Maintain ongoing relationships with past clients to generate referrals and repeat business. Qualifications * 5+ years of experience in marine construction sales, estimating, or project management (combined or individually). * Deep understanding of marine construction methods, permitting, and materials. * Proven ability to develop new business and close deals in a construction or contracting environment. * Strong estimating skills, with experience preparing bids and proposals independently. * Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills. * Proficiency with CRM and estimating software; ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. * Bachelor's degree in construction management, business, engineering, or a related field is preferred. * Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally for site visits and client meetings.
