Full description of the position

Partnering with esteemed service providers and equipment manufacturers ensures our clients get dependable performance every time. We provide services from cabling infrastructure and hosted VOIP systems, to 24/7 support. Sales Engineer Responsibilities: * Fielding customer inquiries and clarify customer requirements. * Design solutions for client applications, including the preparation of network topologies, technical specs, and proposals. * Researching and qualifying new technologies and manufacturers. * Responsible for assuring and managing tools and materials are requisitioned, available and in working order prior to start of project. * Resolving quality and installation issues. * Maintain relationship with customers to facilitate repeat business * Serve as main contact to end user and/or customer in the absence of Project Manager, including all discussion regarding changes to scope of work. * Responsible for communicating project statuses to customer and VP of Sales on a continuous basis including customer inquiries and/or concerns and to communicate need for additional resources, if necessary, to complete project on date scheduled. * Responsible for securing job packets on site and completing all project related documents during and at completion of projects as expected. * Ability to manage multiple projects at once. * Perform other duties as assigned by VP of Sales. * Able to motivate staff to accomplish key milestone dates. Requirements: * Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Technology, IT, Project Management or a related discipline * Candidates must understand layers 1, 2, and 3 of a network, including their purpose and importance. * Experience with Revu, Bluebeam, CAD, etc. is a plus * Ability to read blueprints * Must be a fast learner and self-motivated. * Excellent communication, presentation, and technical writing skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. * Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. * Ability to travel to customer sites and trade shows several times per year. Preferred: * Experience with CRM software (i.e., Salesforce or equivalent) * Ability to deliver presentations * Prior experience in sales process management and training If you are a motivated individual with a passion for sales and engineering, we want to hear from you!
