The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined with hands-on experience with machines; along with a minimum 5 years of experience with equipment sales. The candidate MUST have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Looking for an aggressive, top performing, hardworking and long-term team player. Ability to increase sales with current major accounts Responsibilities: 1. Build strong relationships with current and new customers to generate sales 2. Demonstrate products and services to customers 3. Ability to provide detailed technical information on the phone and email on a daily basis 4. Use of Microsoft Outlook software for tracking all sales activities 5. Perform field promotional work to sell and develop new business. 6. Prepare price quotations (using Microsoft Excel software), review and approve contracts 7. Target industrial customers on both the technical and buying side 8. Work with accounts receivable to ensure customer's credit is acceptable for Herkules 9. Negotiate terms of payment with the customer 10. Manage projects and work with Herkules engineering, purchasing and production staff to meet customer's needs 11. Prepare for and attend trade shows Challenges for this position: 1. Learning the Vertical Robot Automation products in order to speak technically about them with customers 2. Knowing how to speak on the phone in detail about the products 3. Becoming an expert with our quote system (EXCEL Software) 4. Becoming an expert with our BOM and cost system (NAVISION Software) 5. Working the below sales process well and meeting all customer and internal requirements during the process Required travel: Up to 3 trade shows per year located throughout the United States Travel to customers Education: Bachelor degree in Engineering (plus if mechanical) (4-Year) required and Master degree in Business is helpful Experience: Minimum of 5 years of successful equipment sales Position: Full time Hours of work 8:00 to 5:30 with reasonable flex time Overtime is expected when required to get the job completed on time Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Flexible schedule Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Job Type: Full-time Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
