About Us: Precision Fluid Controls, Inc. designs, manufactures and tests components for launch vehicles and ground support applications--providing many types of valves including throttling valves, ball valves, check and relief valves, vent and relief valves, pressure reducing, both manual and dome loaded, regulators, sleeve valves, butterfly valves, solenoid valves plus many others. About the role: PFC is in search for an Applications Engineer/Program Manager who is eager and excited to work in the aerospace launch vehicle industry. This role involves evaluating project feasibility, applying sound engineering judgment, managing projects from concept through production, and acting as the key technical liaison between customers and internal teams. The role is a fully on-site role located in our Lincoln, CA offices and will report directly to the Sales Engineering Manager. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. What You 'll Do: * Prepare and deliver accurate product and program quotations to customers. * Apply sound engineering judgment to assess design and project viability. * Evaluate new project opportunities for feasibility and compliance with technical requirements. * Recommend appropriate fluid and pressure control components that meet customer specifications and application needs. * Participate in and document design reviews, analysis reports, and technical artifacts. * Manage engineering projects from concept through production, including design, prototyping, testing, and manufacturing coordination. * Collaborate closely with production and manufacturing teams to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction. * Serve as the primary technical contact for customer support and issue resolution. What You 'll Need: * Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering * Excellent technical writing, grammar, and presentation experience. * Relevant CAD, PLM, and technical drawing experience * Knowledge of pressurized systems * Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and its contribution to continuous improvement and configuration control * Ability to use basic hand tools and measurement equipment in safe and responsible manner in a laboratory environment Compensation and Benefits: * Pay Range: 65,000 - $85,000/year.
