Care Team is helping the Zang Agency is looking for an seeking an experienced Senior Technical Sales Associate to lead the successful onboarding and implementation of new a client. Details: * Location: Clarence, NY with local travel * Pay: 70-120K plus commissions per year depending on experience and education * Great benefits package including full health, vision and dental! * Must Haves: UPS experience and experience in the electrical distribution equipment industry. * A degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred but not required. Position Overview: The Sales Engineer / Project Manager will be responsible for managing sales activities, overseeing the implementation of electrical distribution projects, and ensuring the successful delivery of equipment, including UPS systems, to our clients. You will collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and external customers to drive project success while maintaining the highest standards of service, ensuring on-time deliveries, coordinating with contractors and customers, and scheduling necessary equipment testing and field services. Key Responsibilities: * Manage and execute projects related to electrical distribution equipment, with a focus on data centers and UPS systems. * Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing technical expertise and guiding them through product selection and project requirements. * Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions. * Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initial sales to installation and commissioning. * Assist in specifying and recommending electrical distribution equipment based on client needs. * Collaborate with engineering and installation teams to ensure successful project completion on time and within budget. * Ensure on-time deliveries of all electrical distribution equipment and components, coordinating with vendors and logistics teams to meet project timelines. * Coordinate with contractors, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects run smoothly and that deadlines are met. * Schedule and oversee equipment testing and field services, ensuring compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements. * Assist in creating proposals, including product specifications, cost estimates, and delivery timelines. * Provide technical training and support to clients, ensuring proper usage of electrical distribution systems. * Travel within New York State to meet with clients and manage projects on-site as needed. * Ensure compliance with safety standards, industry regulations, and best practices. * Leverage past experience in selling, specifying, or installing electrical equipmen to drive customer satisfaction and project success. * Own It: Take full responsibility for your projects, ensuring they meet client needs and are completed on time and within budget. * Triple Check It: Ensure that all details of your projects are thoroughly checked to avoid errors and deliver the highest quality results. * Put Others First: Always prioritize the success and satisfaction of our clients and teammates, ensuring a collaborative and positive working environment. Qualifications: * A degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred but not required. * At least 5 years of experience in the electrical distribution equipment industry, * particularly with data centers and UPS systems. * Proven experience in selling, specifying, or installing electrical distribution equipment, with the ability to understand technical specifications and customer needs. * Strong technical knowledge of electrical distribution systems, data centers, and power solutions. * Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. * Experience coordinating project schedules, managing on-time deliveries, and scheduling field services and equipment testing. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and internal teams. * Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple priorities. * Willingness to travel across New York State as required.
