Full description of the position
Overview Ohio Carbon Blank is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Sales Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth while ensuring customer satisfaction through exceptional service and support. This is a technical position in which you will need to be able to read and interpret customer supplied drawings. This will include being able to pick out tolerances, dimensions, geometric features, and materials. Health insurance is 95% paid by company. This is not a work from home position. Duties * Prepare quotations from customer specifications. * Process orders and inspection sheets. * Engage in warm and cold calling to establish relationships with potential clients and nurture leads. * Utilize CRM system for tracking sales activities, managing customer interactions, and reporting on progress. * Maintain regular contact with current accounts to build and maintain relationships. * Provide ongoing technical support to customers post-sale, ensuring successful implementation and satisfaction. * Stay updated on industry trends, competitive products, and technological advancements to effectively position our offerings. * Meet sales goals and objectives while completing various projects set by Sales Manager. * Familiarize yourself with company products and pricing. * Use automation software and IT solutions to streamline production Qualifications * 2-3 years of proven experience in sales or technical sales, preferably within the manufacturing sector. * Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office. * Excellent customer service skills in business-to-business sales. * Experience with CRM and ERP tools. * Professional communication skills both written and verbal. * Ability to read drawings and blueprints. * Highly organized with a strong attention to detail. * A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on delivering results. * A background in manufacturing or raw material sales. * Previous ISO, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), or material machining experience is a plus but not mandatory. * IT/ automation experience a plus Join us as we strive to provide innovative solutions that empower businesses and enhance operational efficiency.
