Full description of the position

Job Description: General Purpose: Provide pest control proposals to customers and close sales. Position Responsibilities * Sitting for majority of shift in front of a computer on the phone with customers/potential customers. * Approximately 95% of the time will be speaking to and assisting customers. * Inbound and Outbound calls renew or start pest, weed, or rodent services. * Inside Sales Reps are responsible for processing payments, scheduling services for residential customers, notating accounts, and coordinating with other departments to assist customers. * Assist Inside Sales Manager with various projects/campaigns. * Knowledge of all State regulations and safety procedures. * Sell additional products and services to existing customers and recognize and report sales leads and opportunities to managers. * Coordinate with other departments and technicians to ensure completion and customer satisfaction. * Attend required training meetings. * Other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Education Requirements * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers * High School diploma or GED required Required Skills * Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing. * Proven customer service skills with prior experience * Basic computer, and email skills. * Ability to work in a team-based environment with good judgment and decision-making ability. * Self-starter work ethic and the able to work with minimum supervision to complete tasks. Preferred Skills * Some prior pest control experience extremely beneficial. * Preferred sales experience. POSITION Requirements * Requires normal range of hearing and vision to record, prepare and communicate appropriate reports. * Requires dexterity and data entry skills. * Expected to work 11am - 7pm Tuesday - Saturday, variable hours may apply during busier seasons or to accommodate customers.
