This role is perfect for a passionate, creative, and industry-savvy professional who thrives on building relationships and crafting custom solutions. As our Sales Engineer, you will be the first point of contact for prospective projects, working closely with clients to develop scopes of work, prescribe tailored solutions, and foster long-term partnerships that drive repeat business. Key Responsibilities * Project Assessment : Perform "first look" evaluations at prospective project sites, identifying client needs and opportunities for Chipperfield AG's millwright services. * Client Collaboration : Work directly with clients to develop detailed scopes of work and prescribe custom solutions that address their unique grain storage and processing challenges. * Relationship Building : Maintain and nurture client relationships to secure repeat work, acting as a trusted partner in their ongoing success. * Innovative Problem-Solving : Leverage a creative, curious mind to think outside the box and deliver solutions that set Chipperfield AG apart in the industry. * Industry Expertise : Apply years of grain industry experience to understand and implement various means, methods, and work standards, ensuring alignment with best practices. * Sales Proposals*:* Prepare cost estimates. Write and deliver sales proposals. * Industry Leadership : Help Chipperfield AG raise the bar in an industry known for minimum service levels by delivering exceptional solutions and client experiences. * Team Collaboration : Work alongside a high-performing team dedicated to upholding the highest standards of construction excellence. Qualifications * Grain Industry Experience : Several years of experience in the grain industry, with a deep understanding of the means, methods, and work standards used in grain storage and processing facilities. * Creative & Curious Mindset: A proven ability to think outside the box, developing innovative solutions to complex challenges. * Engineering Knowledge : Basic understanding of engineering principles, with the ability to communicate effectively with engineering consultants. * Relationship Building : Strong interpersonal skills with a track record of maintaining client relationships that lead to repeat business. * Passion for Building : A genuine enthusiasm for construction and a drive to create lasting, impactful solutions in the grain industry. * Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with clients, consultants, and team members. * Education : Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred; equivalent industry experience will be considered. * Travel : Willingness to travel across the Great Plains to meet with clients and assess project sites.
