* R. Grey Gallery is a locally owned business located in the heart of Downtown Boise, specializing in fine jewelry, home furnishings, and art glass. The Sales Associate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, inventory management, shipping, receiving, and opening/closing procedures. We are looking for a team member who is dedicated, reliable and takes pride in a job well done! We look forward to meeting you. Details: - 30-38 hours per week. -Must be available Saturdays. -Pay is dependent on experience. Tuesday Through Saturday Minimum Qualification: -High school diploma or GED. -Basic computer (MAC OS) -Phone experience, (taking messages, cold calling Vendors and Customers etc) - E-mail etiquette -Physical Ability to lift 20 to 30lbs. -Receive and unpack fragile items in boxes, as well as crates. Applicants with a background in retail and store management are preferred. Due to the nature of this position, a criminal background check may be required as part of the application process. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills: Ability to be organized, set priorities, and work efficiently in a demanding work environment, must meet sales goals with excellent customer service , strong communicator, and the ability to work as part of a small team. Our new team member should possess these traits: personable, authentic, articulate, resilient, positive and fun. Knowledge of gemstones, metals, and jewelry is a plus but is not required. We will train.
