Position Summary The Account Support Specialist will report to the Vice President of Business Development and support our legacy customers that range across the medical device, aerospace, biotechnology, and industrial sectors. This role is a combination of account support and inside sales. In the early days, as you're getting trained on our systems and learning about key accounts, the role will be focused on providing timely customer support. As you gain systems proficiency and account familiarity, you'll have more bandwidth to focus on inside sales. When done well, the Account Support Specialist will provide proactive communication, support, and issue resolution that enables them to anticipate an account's needs and identify upselling opportunities. Experience, or interest, in B2B sales, account management, and manufacturing is a huge bonus (we're all manufacturing nerds here!). The ideal candidate will be just getting started in their account management career, have a mind for systems, and be genuinely excited to partner with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in a way that results in above-and- beyond service and proactive support that leads to up-selling. These are the systems you will work in on a daily and weekly basis. With the exception of Microsoft 365 products, previous experience using these tools isn't required. * Infor Syteline (ERP) * HubSpot (CRM) * Paperless Parts (quoting software) * Microsoft 365 tools Position Responsibilities Account Management * Maintain and manage customer accounts, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurate * Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, orders, and issues in our CRM to ensure transparency and accountability * Resolve customer issues and advocate for the customer within Hirsh Order Support * Collaborate with Estimation, Production, and Quality teams to manage your accounts' orders from when the order is created to the time it's shipped * Enter all legacy account purchase orders into our ERP system * Provide order confirmations and updates to key account contacts * Proactively communicate expected shortages/delays to customers before they ask about them * Help maintain system data in our ERP, which drives accurate demand and costing * Ensure all quality requirements are flowed down to the Production team by the appropriate method * Initiate the revision change process as necessary when an account updates part revisions Inside Sales Build strong relationships with key account contacts and decision makers Partner with your account contacts to understand long-term needs and identify opportunities to win more work for existing products or new products Collaborate with your account contacts to Review pricing and cost at the time of order creation Work with the Estimation team to review low-margin parts *Preferred Skills & Abilities * 1 to 2 years of experience in customer service * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Experience using an ERP system (Infor Syteline experience preferred) and a CRM (HubSpot is preferred) is a plus but not a requirement * Ability to accurately understand and communicate customer requirements * Proficient with Office 365 tools Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Professional development assistance * Referral program * Vision insurance Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
