Position Title: Outside Sales Representative Classification: 1099 Independent Contractor Reports To: Manager Company Overview Texas Central Distribution is a dynamic and growing company dedicated to delivering quality products and exceptional service to our clients. We are currently seeking motivated, results-driven individuals with reliable transportation to join our team as Outside Sales Representatives. Position Summary As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be the face of our company, responsible for promoting our products, generating new business, and maintaining strong client relationships. Your goal will be to increase brand visibility, drive sales growth, and deliver outstanding customer service. Key Responsibilities * Represent the Company: Serve as the primary ambassador of Texas Central Distribution, upholding our values while promoting our products to both new and existing clients. * Generate Sales: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and referrals. Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and meet or exceed sales targets. * Manage Client Relationships: Develop and maintain long-term relationships with retail partners. Provide personalized service, product education, and tailored solutions. * Product Promotion: Demonstrate expert knowledge of our product offerings and effectively communicate their features and benefits to customers. * Develop Strategies: Collaborate with management to create and adapt sales strategies aligned with market trends and company goals. * Negotiate and Close Deals: Prepare pricing proposals, negotiate terms, and finalize agreements. * Customer Support: Deliver exceptional after-sales service and resolve any customer issues quickly and professionally. * Market Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and client preferences to inform sales tactics. * Sales Reporting: Accurately document sales activities and client interactions using Google Sheet or similar CRM tools Qualifications * Experience: At least one year of sales or marketing experience, preferably in outside sales. * Education: High school diploma or GED required. * Skills: * Strong communication and negotiation skills. * Self-motivated with a goal-oriented mindset. * Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. * Comfortable working independently and within a team. * Basic computer and Microsoft Office proficiency. * Other Requirements: * Reliable transportation. * Willingness to travel regularly. Compensation and Benefits * Pay: $8.25 per hour * Fuel Reimbursement: $200 per month * Commission: * $2 per item for the first 1,500 units sold monthly * $1 per item for units sold beyond 1,500 * Paid Break: 30-minute paid break per day * Commission Structure: Sales associates are responsible for paying upfront for product inventory. This can be covered by collecting advance payment from the customer or by fronting the cost and collecting reimbursement after delivery. Additional Information * Work Schedule: Full-time, 40-48 hours per week; occasional weekends * Work Environment: Field-based role requiring regular travel to client locations. * Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, and move product materials throughout the workday.
