Hi Touch Distribution is Southern California's Premier Direct Store Distributor servicing all 52 regional Whole Foods Locations and all of the best local Natural Food Supermarkets (Mothers Market, Lassens, Jimbos Naturally, Bristol Farms, etc). We specialize in perishable fresh foods that require high service levels, and strive to exceed both our retailer and brand partner expectations. We are seeking organized and friendly Route Sales-Reps to deliver products to customers and grow customer accounts through closing sales of products as you make deliveries. As a Route Sales Representative, you will report to the Sales Supervisor for delivery routes and focus on excellent customer service as you visit the most popular Natural Food Retailers in our region. Compensation will be an hourly base plus commission on sales. Job Responsibilities As a Route Sales Representative with Hi Touch Distribution you will report to the warehouse daily, load your truck with the necessary products needed for delivery and head out on the road. Additional responsibilities of the Route Sales Representative include: * Meeting with decision makers/owners at each location to establish and maintain strong working relationships * Dropping off new fresh product and picking up any out-of-code-date or damaged products * Assessing each customer locations needs for opportunities to upsell * Support promotions and execution of promotional/POS material * Support the launch and introduction on new products, (limited time offers) and outdated products and promotions * Maintain accurate inventory on your truck on a daily basis. * Have the capability to create or pick lists for your next day in order to ensure you always have the proper product mix available to sell. * Meeting with the Manager at the end of each day go over priorities * Assisting with other projects or tasks as assigned * Have the ability to start your shift early to ensure the route can be ran in the most efficient manner possible. * Job Requirements As a Route Sales Representative with Hi Touch Distribution, you must be totally committed to superior customer service. In addition, punctuality and consistency are integral qualities necessary to succeed.
