Sales Executive - Security & Life Safety (SLS) Full Time Location: Phoenix, AZ, US Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Sales Executive to join our Security & Life Safety (SLS) division. This role involves selling integrated solutions to building owners, contractors, and design professionals while building strong, long-term client relationships. The position includes prospecting, estimating, presenting, and closing sales, as well as coordinating with project teams for successful implementation. Key Responsibilities: * Sell integrated security and life safety solutions to building owners, general and electrical contractors, engineers, architects, and consultants. * Build and maintain long-term customer relationships. * Develop and implement strategic sales plans, including qualifying leads and growing the sales pipeline. * Present technical solutions tailored to customer needs. * Influence design and construction decisions with stakeholders. * Prepare competitive bids, proposals, and cost-benefit analyses. * Skillfully communicate and negotiate proposals and close sales. * Manage opportunities using internal sales tools, tracking milestones and next steps. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction. * Engage technical staff and engineers during client meetings to review specifications and develop effective solutions. Minimum Qualifications: * High School Diploma. * 5+ years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in the integrated security and life safety industry. * In-depth knowledge of the construction industry and related sales processes. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills. * Proven track record in proposal development and achieving/exceeding sales goals (over $2M in annual bookings). * Experience in designing and selling complex project solutions. * Familiarity with major access control, video surveillance, and life safety systems. * Experience with technologies such as: Edwards, Lenel, Genetec, Software House, Milestone, ProWatch, and Avigilon. * Successful experience with both plan & spec bid and design-build projects. Preferred Qualifications: * Understanding of enterprise network architecture for recommending networked security systems. * Experience with network, telecom systems, Emergency DAS, AV, and related low-voltage systems. * 2+ years of hands-on experience with key security technologies (as listed above).
