Full description of the position

This individual will be responsible for managing and ensuring all company equipment meets DOT and OSHA requirements. Other job responsibilities include truck repair, preventative maintenance, supervising shop mechanics and enforcing company policies/procedures. This is a hands-on position that requires management experience. Job Qualifications/Requirements: * Hands on knowledge to repair trucks/trailers * Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain and repair heavy duty equipment * Experience with preventative maintenance, including AC and electrical repairs * Assign work to mechanics, assist them with repairs * Keep mechanics focused to perform quality work efficiently * Keep updated and accurate records of all completed repairs * Positive interactions with customers, drivers, service writers, business partners, parts department and vendors * Manage a clean and safe work environment * Must own your own tools * Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs Benefits : * Compass Holding, LLC has a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, life, critical illness, and accident insurance.
