In this critical retail sales position, you will be selling furniture and home decor products to our customers. First year Sales Consultants earn an average of $60,000 and ourTop Producers earn $80,000 - $100,000 + while enjoying a fun, flexible work environment. Other benefits include: * Competitive guaranteed pay ($15 - $18.63/hr) paid weekly with the opportunity to earn additional monthly bonuses and commissions * Weekly Pay * Monthly incentive compensation * Paid time off * Health, Dental, and Vision insurance * 401K * Life Insurance, Short & Long term Disability, Hospital Indemnity Insurance * Furniture Discounts * Extensive training and mentoring * Many opportunities for career advancement Main Responsibilities: * Greeting guests upon arriving in our retail showroom and learning the motivation for their visit; really getting to know them and developing long-term relationships * Presenting and discussing various home furnishing product options based upon your discovery of the prospective client's lifestyle needs and goals * Marketing new sales and special events to book of clients * Assisting customers in financing, purchasing, delivery and ultimate satisfaction * Increasing personal knowledge of products, sales techniques and promotions through continuous professional training and development Job Requirements : You do not need sales or retail furniture experience to be successful in this role. Our world-class training program will get you ramped up and ready to win! We do, however, look at the following: * Hourly rate determined upon experience * Experience in industry where customers have a high expectation of service, such as serving in the food and beverage industry or experience in hotels and hospitality can be helpful, but is not required * Entrepreneurial and team oriented * Coachable and self-directed learner who is always willing to learn * High energy "people person" * Professional, driven, positive, resilient and achievement focused * Detailed, strong follow up and follow through; excellent time-management * Strong interpersonal communication skills; a great listener * Basic computer knowledge is required * Enjoys and can work evenings and weekends as part of a flexible and accommodating full-time work schedule * Bilingual a plus Ashley is an equal opportunity employer.
