Full description of the position

Job Summary Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and achieving sales targets within an assigned territory. This role requires a proactive and results- driven individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Prospecting and Lead Generation: o Identify and research potential clients and leads within the assigned territory. o Cold call, email, and use other methods to initiate contact with potential customers. o Attend industry events and networking functions to build a strong pipeline of prospects. * Sales Presentations: o Conduct product/service presentations to potential clients, showcasing the features and benefits. o Customize sales pitches to address the specific needs of each client. o Provide accurate and detailed information about the company's products or services. * Relationship Building: o Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty. o Act as the main point of contact for clients and address any concerns or issues promptly. o Regularly check in with clients to understand their evolving needs and preferences. * Sales Negotiation and Closing: o Negotiate terms and conditions of sales agreements. o Work to overcome objections and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets. o Prepare and present proposals and contracts to clients. * Market Intelligence: o Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions. o Provide feedback to the sales and marketing teams on customer preferences and market demands. * Reporting and Documentation: o Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, including customer interactions, sales calls, and closed deals. o Prepare regular reports on sales performance and submit them to the regional sales manager. May be modified from time to time. Other duties, tasks and work may be assigned. QUALIFICATIONS * Proven experience in outside sales or a related field. * Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools. * Willingness to travel within the assigned territory. KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED* * Strong Computer proficiency * Proficiency using e-mail, the internet, Microsoft Office, and other computer tools * Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. * Goal-oriented with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE* High school or equivalent GED certification. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
