Must be willing to work Evenings and Weekends. Primary Job Functions * Run POS (point of sale) register * Greeting customers upon entry of store * Customer Service (help customers find what they need in a professional and courteous manner) * Keep up with store promotions and special events * Understanding store layout and location of products * Cleaning and stocking impulse and endcap merchandise * Following store procedures, opening and closing * Answer telephone Secondary Job Functions: * Help load merchandise for customers * Help check in freight * Organize point of purchase material, maintain bin tags, shelf labels, and peg hooks Qualifications: * H.S. Diploma or G.E.D. is preferred * Ability to count change back * Retail cashier experience is a plus * Ability to operate office machines, computers, and Excel is a plus * Professional telephone skills * Knowledge of merchandise * Ability to work flexible hours; including evenings, weekends, and holidays * Attention to detail, accuracy is key
