Cashier We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while efficiently handling transactions. This role requires a strong understanding of cash handling procedures and the ability to operate a cash register or POS system. Duties * Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed. * Process transactions accurately using a cash register or POS system. * Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring accuracy in cash handling. * Maintain an organized and clean checkout area. * Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining product displays. * Conduct product demonstrations to enhance customer experience and drive sales. * Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional manner. * Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations. Experience * Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required. * Proficient in basic math skills, including retail math for accurate transaction processing. * Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience operating a cash register or POS system is advantageous. * Strong communication skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
