WHAT YOU 'LL DO * Responsible for generating sales by building strong relationships, acquiring new clients, making sales presentations, and interacting with management and outlet staff. * Spend a significant amount of time canvassing a trade zone, demonstrating a persistent level of follow up to close new clients, bring back lapsed clients as well as grow existing client sales with an emphasis on guest service and inquiries with incoming calls. * Handling incoming inquiries and meeting with potential clients in a timely manner. Confirming time, location, setting the menu, beverage selection, room set ups, and billing arrangements. WHAT YOU BRING * Previous catering sales and/or event planning experience preferred. * Four year college degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management preferred.
