Looking for an energetic, friendly, well-spoken person to fill an entry level inside sales position in a branch of a building materials company in Richmond, VA. Experience with building materials, concrete construction and/or contractor sales would be a plus. Basic math, communication, and computer skills are required functions of the position. This position is full time, career oriented, and involves challenging problem solving and technical service. Responsibilities * Source new sales opportunities through and outbound cold calls and emails * Understand customer needs and requirements * Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure * Close sales and achieve Monthly/Quarterly Growth * Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest * Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory * Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals * Basic math, communication, and computer skills * Competitive nature with personal motivation to succeed * Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day * Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools * Strong verbal and written communications skills * Strong listening skills * Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively * Experience in the concrete, masonry, or other trade a plus Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour Benefits: * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Compensation Package: * Profit sharing Schedule: * Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
