Shield HealthCare is looking for aCertified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist Sales Representative to strategically manage and expand new diabetic products and services using their clinical skills and background. Our CDCES will grow accounts with diabetes patients, take the lead on our diabetes program, and contribute to Shield's diabetes related curriculum development. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * As part of the sales team, maximize diabetic sales in an assigned territory * As a subject matter expert, provide recommendations, develop, test, and implement nutrition education tools to be used in the field * Conduct CGM education * Review clinical documentation to determine if patients qualify for Medicare coverage. * Work with Sales and Marketing teams to increase Diabetes business * Work on outreach efforts to increase community knowledge of the diabetes product line * Participate in community events and health fairs QUALIFICATIONS: * Current Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist Licensure * Minimum 2 years of experience as a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to travel * Valid Driver's License * Ability to sell a service and promote a product line * Registered Dietitian licensure preferred * Bilingual English/Spanish preferred * CGM Sensor and Pump training and management preferred BENEFITS: * $65,000-90,000 base PLUS monthly uncapped commission AND monthly car allowance * Medical, Dental and Vision (Eligible first day of employment) * Flexible Spending Account * Life & Disability Insurance * 401(k) with Company Match * Vacation and Sick Days * Paid Holidays * Education Assistance Career-minded individuals will find our business challenging and our reputation for excellence just one of the rewards we have to offer.
