Full description of the position

Cashier Your job as cashier will be a blend of hospitality and operations. Aside from running a cash register and processing payments, you'll potentially be responsible for making sure the front of the store is neat and orderly and answering the phone. Benefits: (Eligibility varies depending on FT/PT status) PTO and Paid Holidays Medical, Dental, Vision 401k and company matching Safety Shoe Reimbursement Employee Referral Program Company- Paid Life Insurance Duties & Responsibilities * Provide customers with fast, friendly, and accurate service to ensure guests will return. * Process checkout and/or return transactions, as well as complete yard tickets for all sales yard purchases * Accept and process payments made by customers. Fast and accurately count payment and make change. * Communicate with fellow ASC employees for information or assistance using walkie-talkies * Maintain a neat, clean and stocked register boat area * Proactively seek product knowledge to provide customers with information and identify selling opportunities * As register traffic permits; Offer customers carry-out service at the completion of transactions, return shopping carts, process returned or abandoned merchandize, throw out trash. Qualifications & Education Requirements * Prior experience on a register preferred * Basic math and computer skills * Desire to work with people * Detail focused * Willingness to learn * Experience working in a customer service roll * Helpful, courteous and positive attitude * Ability to stay in one spot for a long period of time Additional Hours can vary based on shift, Saturday availability highly preferred EEO Employer
