Job Summary We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Business Development Manager to lead the strategic growth of our Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) and Sanitation Solutions divisions. This role is responsible for managing and prioritizing the estimating team, driving new business development aligned with Federal, State, and Municipal capital improvement plans, and maintaining a robust sales pipeline. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, market insight, and a proven ability to foster public and private partnerships. Location: On-site, hybrid, remote Reports To: CEO/COO Key Responsibilities: Business Development & Market Strategy * Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the MOT and sanitation sectors, with a focus on federal, state, and municipal infrastructure projects. * Develop and maintain strong relationships with municipal decision-makers, engineers, and other civil construction executives. * Monitor and align business development efforts with capital improvement plans (CIPs) and budgets at the municipal and county levels. * Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and community meetings to build brand awareness and generate leads. Estimator & Quote Management * Manage and lead the estimating team to ensure timely, accurate, and competitive bid proposals. * Prioritize estimates and quotes based on strategic importance, project size, and resource availability. * Review high-value or high-impact proposals to ensure compliance, accuracy, and alignment with profit goals. * Implement and maintain a streamlined estimating workflow to improve responsiveness and win rates. Sales Pipeline Oversight * Maintain and grow a dynamic sales pipeline, ensuring visibility of all opportunities through CRM tools. * Track lead progression, win/loss metrics, and reporting KPIs to leadership. * Forecast revenue and business growth based on pipeline performance and industry trends. * Collaborate with operations and project management teams to ensure seamless handoff from sales to execution.
