Excellent opportunity to work within a local, family-owned self-storage facility with 148,000 sq.ft. of rentable space, 1486 storage units and a mid 90's annual occupancy. Looking for a motivated person with excellent customer service skills. Hospitality, or sales experience would be a plus. Computer and data entry skills are vital. You will aid in maintaining and growing the current high occupancy and rate. Your duties will include but not be limited to assisting the Property Manager with various day to day tasks including interacting with a vast array of customers and potential customers. This will include giving tours of the property/facility, showing units and facilitate renting of the space. The accurate handling of key data entry and filling out of leases, handling payments and deposits. Minor stock and cleaning duties, answering phones and handing sales/technical/billing questions. You will be working with tenants, plus a team of 5/6 employees of both office and maintenance. We are looking for someone who is a team player and is also happy and able to work well independently and handle various workloads as needed. Someone who thinks quickly on their feet, and who is confident and willing to learn and adapt to new environments with a can do attitude and a smile. Ideally this the person we are looking for is able to work on the weekends. Generally it would be a Sunday-Thursday position 10am-7pm during the week, Sunday 8-5.
