* This position requires open availability all week long including weekends. Are you a people person with a knack for sales? Join our dynamic team at Montclair Express as a Sales-Focused Car Wash Attendant! We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who can provide excellent customer service while driving sales for our express car wash. Primary Responsibilities: * Customer Interaction: * Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting the best car wash package. * Explain the benefits of different services and upsell additional features like waxing, interior cleaning, or premium washes. * Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally. * Sales and Promotions: * Actively promote membership programs, discounts, and special offers to increase sales. * Meet or exceed sales targets set by management. * Maintain knowledge of current promotions and pricing to effectively communicate with customers. * Operational Duties: * Operate car wash equipment and ensure it is functioning correctly. * Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment as needed. * Keep the work area clean and organized, ensuring a safe environment for both customers and staff. * Transaction Handling: * Process payments accurately, including handling cash, credit cards, and membership transactions. * Maintain accurate records of sales and services provided. * Team Collaboration: * Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient operations. * Assist in training new employees on sales techniques and customer service standards. Skills and Qualifications: * Sales Skills: Strong ability to upsell and promote additional services. * Customer Service: Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor. * Communication: Clear and effective verbal communication skills. * Technical Aptitude: Basic understanding of car wash equipment and maintenance. * Attention to Detail: Ability to follow procedures accurately and ensure high-quality service. * Physical Stamina: Capability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks.
