Job Description We are searching for a Business Development Manager to join our team. This ideal candidate will help develop new customers in US DoD SOCOM, Air Force, Navy, and 5 Eyes. They will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. This candidate will be business development focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy. Secret Clearance required. Candidates MUST have the following experience * Strong background working with government military customers including US DoD SOCOM, Air Force, Navy, and 5 Eyes * Aerospace and/or military background knowledge * Government proposal experience Responsibilities * Identify partnership opportunities utilizing GovWin, Sam.gov, government consortiums etc. * Monitor data searches for potential RFI and RFPs within Kutta's core competencies * Work with Senior Leaders, marketing, and engineering to develop Strategies, Goals and Objectives and Projections for one, three and five years * Engage the Proposal Team to support new BD efforts with a focus on Air Force, Navy, and Special Operations customers * Work with Proposal Manager with capture and proposal activities * Brief potential customers on Kutta's capabilities and core competencies * Frequent travel to support tradeshows and develop new business; strong presentation skills * Work with Marketing Manager to analyze social media and on-line metrics to fine tune strategies and develop new business * Work with Senior Director of BD to perform pre-Tradeshow research to determine push/pull BD strategies and arrange meetings with key customers * Monitor competitors and customer press releases to keep abreast of market movements * Enter, track, and update NEW BD opportunities in CRM Tool (i.e., Dynamics 365) * Manage Business Development and Bids/Proposal Budgets * Develop new relationships to grow business and help company expand * Maintain existing business * Think critically when planning to ensure project success Qualifications * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience * U.S. Citizenship Required * 3 - 4 years' prior industry related business development experience * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies * Focused and goal-oriented Benefits Kutta is proud to offer excellent health care coverage for employees & their families, excellent 401K benefits, and PTO, including vacation, holiday, and sick time.
