The 2023 LA County Fair is almost here! We are looking for a Sales Representative to provide excellent customer service. If you are a high school or college student this is the perfect summer job! We sell Kids souvenirs, and fun glow in the dark items. Candidates with strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome will stand out. You will help customers needs, present and answer questions about our products and services and recommend to the customers what is a best seller. A positive attitude and a desire to promptly resolve potential customer issues or complaints will make you successful in this role. Ultimately, you will ensure that customers are being helped, and we are making a sale. Responsibilities * Greet and direct customers * Provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing, and after-sales services) * Answer customers' questions about specific products/services * Ensure kiosk is fully stocked * Identify broken items and faulty toys * Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager * It is a 16 day gig so you must be available all days and show up to your shift Skills * Work experience is a plus as a Retail Sales, Sales Associate, or similar role, willing to train * Basic math skills * Must be able to stand for the period of the shift * Track record of achieving sales quotas * Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships * Ability to perform in fast-paced environments * Flexibility to work various shifts Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 4 - 35 per week Benefits: * Flexible schedule Shift: * Day shift * Evening shift Ability to Commute: * Pomona, CA 91768 (Required) Ability to Relocate: * Pomona, CA 91768: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
